Main Pages - New Post

The Edit Post page is identical to the New Post page except that the
original date/time of posting is displayed beneath the textarea and there is no TrackBack URL input box or PingBack checkbox.

Posting to your blog

Title - the post's title as it will appear in the [title] tag.

The body of the post is entered in the large text area below the Title entry
 field.
The buttons on the Post Toolbar can be used to add basic text formatting, links and images to your post.

TrackBack URL - the TrackBack URL of the post on another blog that you wish to connect with your post by 'pining'. Separate multiple URLs with a comma.
- Opens a pop-up window with an input box in which you should enter the URL of the blog you want to find TrackBack URLs for. Once the request is submitted BlogWorks will try to retrieve the given page and extract any available TrackBack URLs from the page's auto-discovery RDF. If none are found a message will be displayed otherwise a list of links will be presented which can then be entered in the TrackBack URL entry box of the 'New Post' page.
RDF auto-discovery may fail simply because the page contains bad HTML. Results can't be guaranteed because of things outside of BlogWorks' control. i.e. don't be surprised if it doesn't work!

Preview - before saving your post it can be previewed in a separate
window. To refresh the window simply press the 'Preview' button again.

Save Post - save the contents of your post without it being added (published)
to the blog that people read. It can be published later.

Save & Publish - the post is saved and a new blog page is generated
according to your Settings. The most recent
archive file, archive index page and RSS feed (if enabled) will also be published.
