Another story series started
Whoo. If you can believe it, I’m starting up a second story series, tentatively titled “The Witches of Ming Ung“, which will be published on Wednesdays. Transhuman Congress will continue to be published on Saturdays. “Witches” is a fixed-length series, so it won’t just be me splashing around in a pool of gooshy artificial intelligences. It’s science fiction, like TC, but in a different ‘verse and with a different feel. It’s a journey with a beginning and an end. Quasi-daily linkage
Román Cortés » Pure CSS Coke Can – Courtesy of a colleague; this is pretty awesome. Ubuntu 9.04 on Asus Eee PC 701 – Um, yes please. I'm totally doing this tonight or tomorrow. I love "Clients From Hell." YouTube – Let's Play Wizardry 8 – Honestly. Someone recorded playing Wizardry 8. It's in 64 parts. feveredwritings: The Complications of Discussing Prejudice – Greg tackles a racism discussion and gets popped in the mouth unfairly. Interesting discussion ensues. Oleg Sych – »…

“Needs denied” posted
My story this week is a new one in the Meta-physics plot arc of the Transhuman Congress, called “Needs denied“: Chase shook his head slightly. “Are you interested?” Miriam didn’t have to think more than twice. “Yes, but I’m not going to be quiet and meek and let stuff slide.” He actually smiled slightly. “That’s good. Keep that attitude. I have a variety of projects I want to bring you in on.” “Projects like the Metas?” Miriam fired back. Chase’s smile twisted a little as he said, “Yes, projects like the Metas. Projects like Lina. The Hadas and the Nortons.”

Dancing: actually thinking about technique
Last night was less physically challenging in terms of dancing, but definitely more mentally challenging. I’m not sure if my focus was off or just different now that I’m a little more comfortable.
