Links for November 16th from 11:35 to 12:08: Magic City Morning Star: Two Stories for Children – Um… wow. "Those who made "Coraline" are also likely to endorse the evils of abortion and homosexual marriage, and given a chance, could easily change America into a Soviet-style hell on earth." Unit testing — staring at a blank screen

For all the brouhaha about unit testing and Test Driven Development, I have yet to find a guide — book, website, anything — that actually discusses how to write unit tests. There are nUnit-specific articles that talk about the foibles of each and how to have testing run constantly and so on and so forth, but how do I know how to compose a unit test? How low-level and nitty-gritty do tests need to be so that they’re useful without making me want to stab myself in the eye from maintenance? What’s the best way to test controllers vs. models? Windows 7 (professional)

First thought: it’s so pretty! Second thought: this is really slick. It’s the easiest OS install I’ve had since college, and is cake to get used to. Vista was always hell to install, because I had an upgrade version. That meant I had to install Windows 2000, which broke my 500 GB hard drive into absurd partitions. Then, sitting at 640 x 480 in Windows 2000, I started the Vista install. Because Windows 2000 was 32-bit, I could only install 32-bit Vista. And because… oh, wait, I don’t know why… I couldn’t do a fresh install — I had to upgrade. Win 7 let me install 64-bit and a fresh…
