Sci-fi film canon

Classic sci-fi movies: I’ve bolded the ones I’ve seen, italicized those I want to see, and stricken (struck?) the ones I don’t want to see. I put an asterisk after the ones I own.

The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension!

Back to the Future
Blade Runner
Bride of Frankenstein
Brother From Another Planet
A Clockwork Orange
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
The Damned
Destination Moon
The Day The Earth Stood Still
Escape From New York
ET: The Extraterrestrial
Flash Gordon: Space Soldiers (serial)
The Fly (1985 version)
Forbidden Planet
Ghost in the Shell

On the Beach
Planet of the Apes (1968 version)

Yeah, I suck. I haven’t seen many of the classics, and I own even fewer. I’ve forgotten where I got this, I’m afraid, as it’s really old.

  1. Oh, you want to see Brazil. And The Day The Earth Stood Still. And I want to see Delicatessen. I’ve also never seen Road Warrior all the way through, and I’d like to.
