    I have packages!

    … but it’s a week until my birthday, so I should probably wait to open them… … but they are Amazon.com packages, and if there was ever time to read a couple of novels, the next two and half days would probably be it.     One of the gems.

    I mentioned in my review of The Once and Future King that there were some amazing gems throughout the book that made it able to be reread and reinterpreted ad infinitum, in my eyes. This is one in particular that’s been lodged in my brain since I read the book; it comes to the forefront of my mind at the oddest of times. (It’s a long one, so pull up a chair.)     Some of these are up to a week old, so I don’t remember where they all came from. I just need to clean out some of the thirty [plus] tabs open in Firefox that I wanted to save from Bloglines, so they’re getting dumped here.     Funny, that’s a little simplified if my Gender Issues reading was any kind of accurate… “The menopausal male”.
