Holy cow

I’m not surprised by the open hatred, but I am surprised that 1) the NBA was quick to snatch his fool ass out of there, and that 2) the news interviewer openly called him on that bigotry.

Maybe it’s because I don’t watch television or teevee news, but I feel like America matured a big bit while I was sleeping on the media. There are always going to be bigots, but I’m always interested in the moment (whatever the hatred is toward) when the media (or the government, whatever) realize it’s bigotry and treat it as such. That seems like a massive turning point in our development, to me.
