Finally! A new story! Even my wrist won’t hold me down. Less than a week left in the cast!
Before I give the link to the story, though, here’s a big, tacky warning: this story is explicit. It’s dark and includes drugs and sex.
Okay, that’s done.
“Spiral’s End” is a new Transhuman Congress story, and is a step in Lina’s path to her corronation as Empress, mentioned in “Cultivating Progress“. It’s part of the “Rise of an Empress arc, which the other Lina development stories have been moved into.
He called over the bartender, then leaned over and whispered, “We’ll make a person out of you yet, Lina.” Ryan never forgot who we were, never forgot us in the face of one of our shards.
“I don’t want a drink,” Paul said as Ryan ordered him a Bloody Mary.
Ryan shook his head. “Have one anyway,” he said with a charming grin. We didn’t miss the bit of powder that fell into the drink as he passed it to us. We swirled the drink quietly, disappointed.
I realized as I was writing this story that for all of the smut I manage to work into my (as yet unpublished) novels, this is the most “adult” thing I’ve posted here, leaving aside the fun, but silly “Hot and Heavy”. I feel weird putting a disclaimer on this, like, “Hey, doesn’t everyone know I have a sick and twisted mind?” Maybe not.
